About the Photographer

Danielle Kubicek, was born in Colorado in 1996 and grew up hiking with her family and watching wildlife in her backyard and the Rocky Mountains. She has dedicated her travels to cleaning up landscapes by picking up trash on her swims, hikes, and other adventures. She strongly believes that humans should Leave No Trace while out in nature and hopes to inspire others to clean up the environment around them.

She is a self-taught photographer who has taken several art classes throughout her years and has always had a passion for nature and capturing her adventures with her camera. While she couldn’t afford a nice camera until after graduating college in 2020, she still pursued photography by using a point-and-shoot camera. She encourages other aspiring photographers to love the camera they have and photograph as much as they can.

Danielle has been in local art shows and galleries in Colorado where she enjoys talking to other art enthusiasts about her images and wildlife. She often reads books about sea life, mammals, and other creatures of the world. If you ever ask about an animal she had photographed, get ready to learn all about it!

Her goal is to inform the public about the beauty of all wildlife to eliminate the fear that some people have towards the ocean and animals.

She has two dogs, Mo and Kona, who are also passionate about hiking and swimming as well. She currently lives in a Sprinter Van that she and her husband Matt built. They will be traveling all over the United States and Canada to capture astounding views and experience nature and wildlife as much as possible.
